Although our all time favorite things to do in Brewster include enjoying the beaches and warm water of Cape Cod Bay, gazing at spectacular sunsets and long walks on the flats, we always take time each summer to enjoy all that the Cape has to offer.

The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a scenic way to see much of the unspoiled nature of the Cape. The trail runs 25 miles from Dennis to Wellfleet and offers many opportunities to visit beaches and lakes. Food, water and restrooms are available throughout and don‘t forget to visit Bayside Seafood and Market for lunch located on the trail near Ocean Edge in Brewster. Nickerson State Park is located within walking or biking distance to Cape Cod Bay. The largest
state park in Massachusetts with over 1900 acres, Nickerson offers more than 420 campsites, including
yurt camping, an amphitheater, eight miles of roads, hiking trails, an eight mile bike path that
connects to the 25 mile Cape Cod Rail Trail, and ponds stocked year-round with trout.

The Cape Cod National Seashore was a beloved spot for John F. Kennedy who signed legislation in 1961
making much of Cape Cod‘s outer coast Federal Park Land. Don‘t miss a visit to the forty miles of pristine
sandy beaches and dunes that one of our country‘s greatest parks has to offer.
The Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham is a great place to learn about the history and
ecology of the National Seashore and even offers Ranger-Guided Nature Walks.

The Brewster Whitecaps is our local team in the Cape Cod Baseball League which is the premier collegiate summer wood bat league in the nation. Enjoy an early evening game at the new field off of Underpass Rd in Brewster, and you may even win a free New England Clambake from Bayside Seafood and Market which is given away at each game. Remember the players‘ names because you may see them playing on a Major League field soon!
